Our client is a leading engineering company services primarily involved in life sciences, data centres and pharmaceutical schemes with core divisions that includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection. The company also offers exceptional services in Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Specialist Lift, Off Site Fabrication, Technical Support Services, Maintenance, Asset Management, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying.

The need now exists for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the company’s project based in Limerick. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play an important role in the development and completion of projects which includes the organisation, scheduling, and implementation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Proven record delivering Mechanical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, on time and within budget.

  • Experience of managing combined Mechanical / Electrical projects is a distinct advantage.

  • Proven ability to manage an existing core cross-functional team / develop the team.

  • Commercially and contractually competent with a good understanding of project P&L.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience post qualification.

  • Relevant third level qualification essential (Mechanical / Building Services Engineering).

  • Excellent IT skills essential and a good understanding of programmes including CSA activities.

  • Proven ability to work both individually and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills essential.
